SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Ayeyarwady Region and Mon State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) below November average temperature in Kachin State and (2°C) below November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Yangon Regions and Chin State, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Eastern Shan, Mon States, (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Southern Shan, Kayah States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) in Hakha, (7°C) in Putao, (8°C) in Tiddim and (10°C) each in Myintkyina and Homalin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.22) inches in Pinlaung, (0.20) inch in Myeik, (0.15) inch in Taunggyi and (0.12) inch each in Nyaungshwe and Hainggyigyung.

BAY INFERENCE:  According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Bay of Bengal almost stationary and still persists. It is centered at about (515) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island, (620) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (330) Nautical miles East of Jaffna (Sri Lanka), (355) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai (India). Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st November, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairy widespread in Southern Shan State and isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%). Weather will be partly cloudy in remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30) to (35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
