SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah, Mon States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and Southern Shan State, scattered in Kayin State and isolated in Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below November average temperatures in Kachin, Chin States, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, Mon States, (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Hakha, (6°C) in Tiddim, (8°C) in Putao and (10°C) each in Machanbaw, Tongzan, Homalin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.46) inches in Launglon, (1.26) inches in Khayan, (1.06) inches in Wakema, (0.94) inch in Mawlamyaingyun, (0.90) inch in Thaton, (0.62) inch in Yangon(Mingaladon), (0.59) inch in Pinlaung and (0.48) inch Bogalay.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Well Low Pressure Area over South Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwest wards and gradually intensify into a Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal during next (24) hours. It is likely to reach Tamilnadu-Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) around (22.11.2022).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th November, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairy widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, TaninthayiRegions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Bago Region and Rakhine State, isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, MagwayRegions and Chin State.
