BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Andaman Sea now lies over Southeast Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwest wards and gradually concentrate into a Depression over South Bay of Bengal around (19.11.2022). It is likely to reach North Tamilnadu-Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) around (22.11.2022). Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th November, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon State, scattered in Bago Region and isolated Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Chin, Rakhine States with likelihood of islated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (100%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
