SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Bago Region and Kayin, Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) to (6°C) below November average temperatures in Northern Shan, Chin States, (3°C) below November average temperature in Yangon Region, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperature were (3°C) in Hakha, (8°C) each in Kyaukmae, Namsam, Mongyang and Tiddim and (9°C) in Pyinoolwin.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal off Sri Lanka coasts still persist. It is likely to move northwestwards and reach to Tamilnadu-Puducherry Coasts (India) during next (24)hrs. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th November, 2022: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing Region and (Northern and Eastern) Shan State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperature in Northern Shan, Chin, Kayah States.
