SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Southern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Chin State, isolated in Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan State with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.72) inches in Natogyi, (1.57) inches in Naungcho, (1.50) inches in Nyaung Shwe, (1.48) inches in Thazi, (1.46) inches in Heho and (0.90) inch in Pinlaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs MST today, the Severe Tropical Storm “Nalgae” over South China Sea moved West-Northwestwards and downgraded into a Tropical Storm “Nalgae”. It is forecast continuous to move West-Northwestwards. FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31st October, 2022: Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Southern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
