BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal moved Northwestwards and now lies over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (225) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Coco Islands, (280) Nautical miles West-Southwest ofHainggyigyun, (345) Nautical miles Southwest of Thandwe(Myanamr), (270) Nautical miles Northwest of Port Blair, (410) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Sagar Island(India) and (460) Nautical miles South of Barisal(Bangladesh). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 23rd October, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Northern Shan, Kayah, Kayin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Mon States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State, widespread in the remaining regions and States and with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Chin and Rakhine State. STATE OF THE SEA: Frequently squall with rough to very rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, off and along RakhineCoasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (50-55) mph.
