BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over the Southeast Bay and adjoining  Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and North Andaman Sea moved to West-Northwestwardsand concentrated into a Depression over Southeast Bay and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (145) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island, (250)Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyikyun, (360) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Thandwe, (140) Nautical miles Northwest of Port Blair, (525) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Sagar Island and (560) Nautical miles South of Barisal. Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd October, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Saging, Magway Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Kayah States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Yangon,Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Chin, RakhineStates and with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, AyeyarwadyRegions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%). Weather will bepartly cloudy in the (Southern and Eastern)Shan State.

STATE OF THE SEA:Frequently squall with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40-45) mph. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in in Sagaing, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin,  Rakhine States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 23rd October, 2022:           Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers.  Degree of certainty is (60%).
