SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Southwest monsoon has been withdrawn from the whole country. Weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayin States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolatedin Mon and Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Upper SagaingRegion and Northern Shan State andwidespreadin the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.60) inches in Monyin, (1.69) inches in Hmawbi, (1.65) inches in Kyaukphyu, (1.54) inches in Taunggu, (1.37) inches in Coco Island, (1.14) inches in Myitkyina, (1.11) inches in Naypyitaw(Dekkhinathiri) and (0.98) inch each in Mogaung and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th October, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing,Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan States,scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Northern Shan, Chin,Rakhine, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will beslight to moderate in Myanmar Waters.Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
