SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing, Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon Region and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.96) inches in Myeik, (1.30) inches in Kyaiklat, (1.26) inches each in Kunlong and Zalun, (1.22) inches in Moemate, (1.10) inches each in Tada U and Thaton, (1.06) inches each in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri) and Shwekyin and (1.02) inches in Ye.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Northeast and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th October, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Chin, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions.
