SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan States, scattered in Mandalay Region and Kachin, Kayin States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.80) inches in Belin, (2.72) inches in Hpa-an (Agro-met), (2.63) inches Theinzayet, (2.20) inches in Thaton, (1.93) inches in Bago, (1.73) inches in Kyeikmayaw, (1.54) inches in Hlegu, (1.41) inches in Khayan, (1.38) inches in Lashio and (1.30) inches in Ann.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th October, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin, Kayah States and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
