SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Southwest monsoon has been withdrawan from Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and Deltaic Myanmar areas.Weather have been partly cloudy in Eastern Shan and Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread inKachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, TaninthayiRegions, scattered inLower Sagaing, BagoRegionsand (Northern and Southern) Shan, Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.88) inches in Patheingyi(Shwesaryan), (3.50) inches in Hkamti, (2.48) inches each inTiddim and Patheingyi, (1.96) inches in Madaya, (1.65) inches in Maubin, (1.41) inches in Putao, (1.38) inches in Mandalay(Aungmyaethazan) and (1.00) inch in Singu.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7thOctober, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin Statesand isolated inthe remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will beslight to moderate in Myanmar Waters.Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of thundery activities in Southern Myanmar areas.
