BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is strongto vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 1st October, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper SagaingRegion and Kachin, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions, Eastern Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and Stateswith likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway, Yangon Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%). STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35- 40) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-TaninthayiCoasts and (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
