BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Northeast Bay and Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs MST today, the Land depression over Eastern Thailand moved westwards and now lies over Central Thailand. It it forecast continue to move westwards and weaken gradually into a Low pressure cell over Thailand.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOONOF THE 30th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin States, scattered in Naypyitaw and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Magway Region and Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Mandaly Region and Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-6) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
