SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,Southwest monsoon has been withdrawn from the Northeast Bay of Bengal and Central Myanmar areas.Weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regionsand (Northern and Southern)ShanState. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated inNaypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, BagoRegions andKachin, Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States,scatteredinMandalay and Yangon Regions and widespreadin the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Kayin State and isolated heavyfalls inAyeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State.The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were(5.51) inchesin Hpa-an, (4.96) inchesinPhyarpon, (4.85)inches in Dawei, (4.33) inches in Kyeikkhame, (2.24) inchesin Kya-In-Seikkyi, (2.00) inches in Kyaiklat,(1.93) inches in Myeik, (1.74) inches each in Kawkareik and Launglonand(1.62) inches in Thaton.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Northeast Bay and Monsoon is strongover the Andaman Sea andSouth Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs MST today, the Land depressionover Eastern Thailand continue to move westwards andIt is weaken gradually into a Low pressure cell over Thailand.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30thSeptember, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will beisolated in SagaingRegion and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Southernand Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, KayahStates, fairly widespread in BagoRegionand widespread in the remaining Regions and Stateswith likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-6) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Continuations of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
