BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining off Odisha Coast, India now lies over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining  North Odisha- West Bengal Coasts, India still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and cross NorthOdishaand North Chhattisgarh, India during next (2) days.Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21^stSeptember, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will bescatteredin Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and Stateswith likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, AyeyarwadyRegions and KachinStates.Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along RakhineCoast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, off and along RakhineCoast and about (5-7) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
