BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to rough over the Andaman Sea and South Bay moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 17th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, scattered in Kayah State, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and and about (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
