SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon Regions and Kachin,  Southern Shan, KayahStates and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (4.76) inches in Mogaung, (4.37) inches in Launglon, (3.66) inches in Ye, (3.50) inches in Mudon, (2.68) inches each in Okkan and Belin, (2.60) inches each in Mawlamyinekyunand Dawei, (2.17) inchesin Coco Island, (2.13) inches in Zalun and (1.89) inches in Kyeikmayaw.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing,Mandalay, Magway Regions, scattered in Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayin, Mon States.
