SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, AyeyarwadyRegions and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, MonStates and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Bago Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (4.33) inches in Taunggu, (2.64) inches inKyeikdon, (2.12) inches each in Putao and Phyarpon, (1.85) inches in Maungdaw, (1.62) inches in Ye, (1.49) inchesin Phyu, (1.45) inches each in Patheingyi (Shwesaryan) and Sittweand (1.40) inches in Minbya.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing,Ayeyarwady Region and Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States.
