SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago Regions and Kachin, MonStates and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.40) inches in Ponnagyun, (3.24) inches in Myebon, (2.93) inches in Rathedaung, (2.30) inches each in Rambree and PaingKyone, (2.28) inches in Minbya, (2.21) inches inKyaukpyu, (2.14) inchesin Kangyidaung, (2.05) inches each in Tiddim and Taungkok, (1.93) inches in Myauk U and (1.81) inches in Putao.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine State. STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6 - 8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
