BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 13th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts and (5-7) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
