SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (6.34) inches in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), (4.96) inches in Naypyitaw(Otarathiri), (4.49) inches in Myittha, (3.98) inches in Naypyitaw(Zabuthiri), (3.66) inches in Gangaw, (3.23) inches in Mingin, (3.15) inches in Matupi, (2.99) inches in Ye U, (2.83) inches in Kani, (2.80) inches in Kyeikkhame and (2.76) inches in Bawlakhae.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (10:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Well marked low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal(off South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh Coasts, India), moved West-Northwestwards and it concentrated into a Depression. It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually at India Inland during next (24) hrs. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Shan State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts and (5-7) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
