BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (off North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha Coasts, India) and it intensified into a well marked low pressure area. It is likely intensify into a Depression over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal (off South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh Coasts, India) during next (24) hours. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Magway Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and (6-8) feet in Gulf of mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon.
