BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (off North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha Coasts, India) still persists. It is likely intensify into a well marked low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal (off South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh Coasts, India) during next (36) hours. Monsoon moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 10th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in and Kachin, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine States.
