SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy inLower SagaingRegion and (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Chin State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay,Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin Statesand isolated in the remaining Regions and Stateswith isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.35) inches in Kyauktaw,(2.16) inches in Phyarpon, (1.88) inches in Shwekyin, (1.45) inches in Myingyan, (1.26) inches in Nyaunglaybin, (1.18) inches each in Putao and Hkamti, (1.06) inches each in Pyawbwe and Phyuand (0.79) inch in Tiddim.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
