SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy inAyeyarwadyRegion. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in UpperSagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Northern Shan, RakhineStates and  widespread in the remaining Regions and Stateswith isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.29) inches in Homalin,(1.93) inches in Momate, (1.76) inches in Monywa, (1.40) inches in Ponnagyun, (1.28) inches in Minbya, (1.14) inches in Sittwe, (1.02) inches in Taungtha, (0.94) inch in Yangon(Mingaladon) and (0.90) inch in Yangon(Mayangon).

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 03rd September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in UpperSagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Increase of rain in UpperSagaingRegion and Kachin, Northern Shan States.
