BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENINGOF THE 02nd  September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Kayah State, scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and  ( Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States . Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in  Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 02nd September, 2022:        Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (80%).
