BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 25th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin and Eastern Shan States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States . Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayin, Mon States.
