BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 24th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Bago Region and  Shan, Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States . Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
