BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Kayin and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with rough sea are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35-40) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-11) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and (6-8) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
