BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression which crossed to West Bengal coast and North Odisha coast near Digha, India moved to West-Northwestwards as a Land Depression still persists. It is forecast continue to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually.Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and strong over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 15th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions, fairly widespread in Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon Region and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Occasional squalls with rough sea will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and (6-8) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
