BAY INFERENCE:According to the observations at (15:30)hrs MST today, the well marked low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal & adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off South Odisha & adjoining north Andhra Pradesh coasts still persists. It is likely to intensify during next (48)hrs into a depression and move West-Northwestwards cross Odisha. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
