BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 6thAugust, 2022:Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespreadin Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay,Yangon,  Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine,  Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet in off and along Myanmar Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Continuations of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, TaninthayiRegions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
