BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 6thAugust, 2022:Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespreadinNaypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Chin, KayahStates and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine and  Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet in off and along Myanmar Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Continuations of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, TaninthayiRegions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.

WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR WEEKEND: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and widespread in Yangon Region.
