SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,rain or thundershowers have been isolatedin Magway andYangon Regions, scattered in Ayeyarwady Region and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, KayahStates, fairly widespread in Kachin,SouthernShan andKayinStates and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls inMagway Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were(3.90) inchesinTaungdwingyi, (2.88) inches inThazi, (2.13) inches inHlaingtat, (2.01) inches in Pyinoolwin, (1.77) inches inNaypyitaw(Zeyarthiri),(1.69) inches in Moemate, (1.42) inches eachin Bhamo and Nyaunglaybin, (1.24) inches in Kyeikdon and (1.22) inches in Myeik.
BAY INFERENCEMonsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
