BAY INFERENCE Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 22ndJuly, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Magway Region and Kachin, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon Regions and Kayin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
