SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway Region, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine, Mon States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (5.47) inches in Kyeikkhame, (5.31) inches in Launglon, (5.16) inches in Manaung, (4.09) inches in Ye, (3.86) inches each in Mudon and Myeik, (3.58) inches in Gwa, (3.39) inches in Dawei, (2.95) inches in Taungkok, (2.44) inches in Chaungsone, (2.28) inches in Phyu, (2.13) inches in Okkan and (2.05) inches in Thandwe.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over South Coastal Odisha (India) still persists. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th July, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood regionally heavyfalls in Rakhnie State and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squall with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) mph. Wave height will be about (10-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
