SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather have been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region,rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Naypyitaw,Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, BagoRegions and Kayah state and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavyfalls in RakhineState. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (7.64) inches in Launglon, (5.35) inches in Dawei, (3.35) inches in Myeik, (3.31) inches in Gwa, (2.76) inches in Hainggyigyun, (2.56) inches in Kawthaung, (2.36) inches in Hlegu, (2.24) inches in Manaung, (2.17) inches in Kyaiklat, (2.12)inches inYe and (2.05)inches in Wakema.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over CoastalOdisha (India)now lies over South CoastalOdisha (India) still persists. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th July, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered inNaypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Southern Shan, Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) mph. Wave height will be about (8-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Increase of rain in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
