SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mon State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.50) inches in Chaungsone, (3.22) inches in Mawlamyine, (2.56) inches each in Kyaukpyu and Paung, (2.44) inches in Gwa, (2.10) inches in Kyangin, (1.97) inches each inMoemate and Danubyu, (1.93) inches each in Mingin and Kyeikmayaw, (1.89) inches each in Mudon and Kyeikkhame, (1.73) inches in Hpa-an and (1.57) inches in Thandwe.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
