BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 6th July, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Kachin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet in off and along Myanmar Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
