SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rainor thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions,scattered in Upper Sagaing,MagwayRegions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in TaninthayiRegion and (Southern and Eastern) ShanState and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.19) inches in WaKe Ma,(3.11) inches in Gwa, (2.68) inchesin Da Nu Pyu, (2.60) inches in Nyaungtone, (2.44) inches in KyaungGon, (2.32) inches in Hlegu, (2.24) inches each in Kyauk Taw and Thandwe, (2.16) inches in Pon Na Gyun, (2.05) inches in Hkamti, (1.93) inches in Theinzayet, (1.91) inches in Bu ThiDaung, (1.85) inches in Ngathaichaung and (1.81) inches each in Bago and Hmawbi.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd June, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, scattered in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, AyeyarwadyRegions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin, KayahStates and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Kachin and Rakhine States.
