SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw. Rainor thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayin State, scattered in Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Yangon Region and (Northern and Southern) Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.51) inches in Ta Gaung, (2.64) inchesin Maungdaw, (2.48) inches in Manaung, (2.20) inches in Labutta, (2.10) inches in Mawlaik, (1.94) inches in Myitkyina, (1.73) inches in Kanbalu, (1.66) inches in Mogoke, (1.57) inches in Yangon (Kaba-Aye), (1.54) inched in Moemate (Myitsone) and (1.30) inches in Myaungmya.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th June, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway, TaninthayiRegions and Kayin State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin State.
