SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather have been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw and Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay Region, scattered in Lower Sagaing Magway, Taninthayi Regions and (North and East)Shan, Chin States, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Yangon Region and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (4.25) inches in Kungyangon, (3.23) inches in Hlegu, (3.11) inches in Hmawbi, (2.75) inches in Singu, (2.13) inches in Phyu, (1.97) inches in Mawlamyine, (1.69) inches in Okkan, (1.65) inches in Nyaunglaybin and (1.54) inches each in Hkamti and Bago.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th June, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing, Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (North and South)Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
