SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaingand MagwayRegions, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Magway, Bago Regions and Rakhine State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.26) inches in Thandwe, (3.07) inches each in Saw and Pyay, (2.76) inches in Thaton, (2.44) inches in Yangon (Kaba- Aye), (2.40) inches in Manaung, (2.20) inches in Gwa, (2.17) inches in Bawlakhae, (2.13) inches in Okkan, (1.85) inches in Homalin, (1.72) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi and (1.65) inches in Yangon (Mingaladon).
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
