BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea, South Bay, East Central Bay and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31st May, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Yangon Regions and Kachin, (South and East)Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
