BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea, South Bay, East Central Bay and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th May, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate ot rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts and (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State.
