BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea, South Bay, Eastcentral Bay and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 28th May, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing Region and Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) mph.
