BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th May, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin, (North and East)Shan States, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Magway Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squall with rough seas will be experienced in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Therefore, domestic flight, trawlers, vessels and ships in off and along Myanmar Coasts should be aware to take precautionary measures.
