SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather have been partly cloudy in Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan, Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Bago Region, scattered in Naypyitaw and Northern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. Day temperatures were (2°C) above May average temperature in MagwayRegion and (2°C) below May average temperature in Kayin State, (3°C) to(4°C) below May average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Chin Stateand about May average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Myinmu, Chauk and Minbu and (39°C) each in Myingyan and Magway. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (5.19) inches each in Dawei and Launglon, (4.88) inches in Myeik, (3.62) inches in Ye, (3.35) inches in Mudon, (3.31) inches in Kyeikmayaw, (3.07) inches in Belin, (2.67) inches in Mawlamyine, (2.52) inches in Kyeikdon, (2.09) inches in Phyu and (1.69) inches in Theinzayet.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
