BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 22nd May, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Sagaing Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Mandalay and Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squall with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph. Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (7-9) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
