SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,rain or thundershowers have been scattered inNaypyitaw, Magway Region andKayahState, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, BagoRegions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Rakhine States and widespread inthe remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay and TaninthayiRegions. Day temperatureswere(3°C) above May average temperatures in Magway Region and Kayah State,(2°C) above May average temperatures in Southern Shan, Chin States and (2°C) below May average temperature in Kayin State, (3°C) below May average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and about May average temperaturesin the remaining Regions and States.The significant day temperatures were(42°C)in Chauk and(39°C) each inMagway,Gangaw, Sinbyugyun and Bawlakhae.The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.23) inchesin Launglon, (3.07) inches in Dawei, (2.95) inches in NyaungOo, (2.76) inches in Kyaukse(Lunkyaw), (2.64) inches in Ngathaichaung, (2.44) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi, (2.43) inches in Nyaungtone, (2.28) inches in Gyobingauk and (2.17) inches in Chaungsone.
BAY INFERENCE:Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloudover the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-TaninthayiCoasts and (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
